My All Star!!!

 

 

 

Finally, Daddy and Brunson were able to come out to Hannah's last game (being able to watch the whole game) and take some pictures of Hannah in action! It's really hard with two playing ball at two different complexs with a parent assisting coaching for each team on Chris and I...we would like to be at both kids every game and practice! At least this night was all about Hannah and she has really become a successful fastpitch catcher this year and proved herself well by being asked to play for the All Star team of Midlands!!! My sweet girl turns into a totally different aggressive person once she has the mask and catcher's gear are on, she means business out there! She has developed so much, I can hardly wait to see what is to come for her in the future!!! Hannah has declined her invitation and she says summers are for Camping! So it appears the Stone family will have one more summer of family getaways whenever we want! Daddy and I know we better enjoy and make the most of this summer!!! We both are so proud and love our little family, we feel like the luckiest parents!

Friday Night With The Family!

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with some good family fun! Aunt Doris came in for a visit from North Carolina and her and Mama came to Columbia to watch Brunson play baseball and enjoy a great dinner at Aunt Cathy's house!!! It was so great to spend time with family and Brunson was super excited to have his Mamaw and Great Great Aunt Doris come and watch his game!!!

Our Miss Sportswear!!!

Hannah decided she wanted to try out the beauty pageant world! We went up to Spartanburg Friday night for a girls night with Mamaw, Aunt Seisha, Mary and baby Reese, Hannah was so excited!!! We primped and played and all had a great time! The pageant was on Saturday and Daddy and Brunson came up for the show! Hannah did fantastic!!! We were so proud of her, she was just beautiful and confident. Where her shyness went I don't know! It was like looking at a different child up on that stage!!! She won the sportswear competition, but she was not satisfied without winning the formal beauty part, haha! She is hooked and is already wanting to do the next pageant that comes up. Baby Reese went out there and "rocked" the show!!! She danced to the music, waived and smiled at everyone!!! She did awesome and won the 0-12 month competition!!! It was all very exciting and oh so much fun!!!

Saturday kicked off the season for Midland's baseball! We enjoyed a fun FULL day at the ballfield starting with the parade! Click on the picture to see all the photos!

Happy Birthday Savannah!

 

SNOW!!!!

The kids had such a wonderful time at Zachery's birthday party! Zachery is Hannah's "friend" from school and he really is a sweet boy. We all, even myself, got out on the skates and had a great time!

CONGRATULATIONS TO HANNAH!!!

Like always, I am super DUPER proud of Hannah! Today was Hannah's school's 3rd grade awards program! Hannah won both of the highest awards given. Perfect attendance and All A Honor Roll!!! Brunson also made Honor Roll in first grade! No awards program in his school, but we are super DUPER proud of him too!!!

Hannah and I got to enjoy a wonderful Saturday together while Daddy and Brunson went hunting. I decided to make it a quality, no distraction all about Hannah and I day. So we stayed home and "tried" not to get caught up in doing the endless chores that are always needing to be done and actually do a little something creative and fun! We sewed a little and baked a little, while talking A LOT :) It was so much fun watching Hannah learn and laugh and the accomplishment smile was priceless on her face! She loved the end result of her "home made" pillow and loved making a delicious chocolate cake! I want to scoop up and cherish all these precious moments I am enjoying with my very wonderful daughter!

Missing My Daddy

Today is the 4th anniversary of the passing of my sweet sweet Daddy. Hard to think four years have passed as we remember and miss him daily. I am finally at peace with knowing I am living my life and raising my children in a way that I know he is smiling down on me.

Merry Christmas!

The Stone family had a wonderful Christmas this year...It was a little new and scary with a 31 year tradition thrown out the window. You see Christmas has always been at my Grandma's, but with her passing this all has now changed. It was so hard to get into the spirit of Christmas, but once I committed to making the best with what little family I had around...I actually did have a great time. Christmas was at my home and Mamaw came Christmas Eve and stayed through Christmas! For the first time I made Christmas dinner (of course Mama helped a lot) and we shared the meal with Greg, Jennifer and the boys. I loved having my family and friends around, but did miss all my Aunts and Uncles this year. Hannah and Brunson had a great Christmas, Santa must have thought them to be good little boy and girl!!!

Week One Of Becoming An Avon Indepentent Sales Representative!

I am so excited to start my very own business and becoming my own boss through selling the wonderful Avon brand! Avon really is the company for women! I have always been around an Avon product, from my Grandmother always having the body powders to my mother loving the Skin So Soft spritzers! As a young adult in the work force I always bought my Avon products through the wonderful brouchures from my coworkers. When my husband, Chris, and I decided to have a family of our own..it was our choice for me to become a 'Domestic Goddess'! But what happens then is probably common to a lot of new mothers, we don't see the Avon brouchures once we are out of the work enviroment. I want to change this!
I really want to be like the Avon representative who came to my home as a little girl, offering wonderful products to the stay at home mothers! I commit to making Avon products available to everyone I see and make buying Avon easy to buy and be delivered right to your door!
I am off to opening many doors!"

HANNAH TURNS 9 IN TRUE GIRL FASHION STYLE!


Hannah had a birthday week this year, from school party to Mamaw visiting for a home family get-together to a day at the mall with her girlfriends to dinner with friends and family at Miyabi! She sure is one special nine year old. Our love for her grows everyday, never could imagine how a child grows and so does the hearts of her very proud parents! Hopefully one day Hannah will have a daughter to share all these wonderful experiences she shares with her Daddy and me everyday!!! I love you Hannah!

What A Night At The Ballfield!

Hannah had her first fast pitch softball game and WOW I am so proud! There is a HUGE difference moving from slow pitch to fast pitch and after one game Hannah has proved she has what it takes!!! Even after taking two seasons off, Hannah brought her game face last night! It was like watching a whole new child out on that field. An image I am sure will stay in my head is her charging a runner back to third base...that look of determination in my baby's eyes has me so excited. A huge responsibility in fast pitch is of course the pitcher and catcher...Hannah proved herself to be a catcher. She also played second base very well...and her at bat was exciting too, she forced a walk and at her second time at bat got a nice hit that turned into a fielder's choice. I'll take it, this was the first time ever hitting against a fast pitcher and she showed skill and patience. Can you tell I am super excited and SUPER proud of my Hannah?!?!
