Birthday Weekend

I had a great time celebrating my 31st Friday night with family and friends! We went to Miyabi for dinner with Alisha, Gray, Jackson, Chrissy, Brad and Kyle. Hannah helped me out and did the birthday dance and song!!! So after such a FULL dinner we decided to walk the mall and shop a little and we got to see the Easter Bunny!!!

Let The Games Begin!

What can we say...Brunson is just loving baseball! Last night he hit a double and a HOMERUN, not to mention making at least 3 outs!!! I absolutely could just eat him up, he is all big and bad out on that field.

Brunson's First Scrimmage Baseball Game!

Brunson experienced his first tee ball scrimmage game. He was wonderful, all serious and competitive. Tee ball is a little different than regular baseball in the ways of there are no outs and every kid gets to bat in an inning with two innings to play. The coach pitches three balls to the batter and if the batter doesn't hit one, then the batter gets to hit off of a tee. These are 4-6 year olds. So you can imagine how cute these boys are! Well Brunson's team had three batters that actually hit off the coach pitching and YES Brunson was one of them! Talk about proud, Daddy, Hannah and I were cheering to the top of our lungs!!! Chris, coaching first base, had just as much fun as Brunson! It was such a wonderful time and we are so proud of Brunson's determination and abilities!

HELLO WORLD!

Seems like awhile since our last post...things have been busy! Brunson has started tee ball and he loves it! I have to say he is pretty dang good at it too! He has grown up to be such a little man in the last year. We are having so much fun watching him grow and start his own little life.
We also have been battling the flu season. Brunson was the first to be diagnosed with the flu and of course it traveled straight to me. We made a quick trip to Mamaw's to get Hannah out of the house fast! Sure enough it worked, she never got sick and she sure had a fantastic time playing hookie from school with her most favorite two ladies (Mamaw and Nana).
Things are starting to calm and become normal again here at the Stone home and we are looking forward to getting back with friends and enjoying being healthy!!!

Happy Birthday Kyle and Congrats to Hannah!!

Kyle had a super fun 4th birthday party at Edventure! The kids had a super fun time investigating all the different activities!


So proud of Hannah, this picture is after the awards day at school. Hannah was awarded for her perfect attendance and her Excellence in studies. She made the best of the best on her report card. All E's!!!

Miss You Daddy!

It is hard to believe Daddy has been gone for three years today. How much has changed since he has passed is hard to believe because it still feels like just yesterday we were all together. I guess the pains of losing my sweet sweet Daddy will never get any easier. 8/6/39 - 1/14/06

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!

 

Chris turned 32 today and we celebrated family style. Chris is such a wonderful husband, bestfriend and father. He makes life fun and safe for his family everyday. The kids and I are so lucky to have such an amazing man. We all love you very much!

 

 

Merry Christmas!

CHRISTMAS IN CAMDEN!

Our family tradition is to spend Christmas in Camden with Mama. We had so much fun the whole week. The preparation is just as much fun as the as actual day of Christmas. Love all the baking, shopping, visiting and being with family! Every Christmas Eve we spend the evening at Grandma's with our extended family, hanging out and of course eating! Christmas morning Santa visited the kids at Mamaw's and we love to share in the excitement at her house. Around lunch time we head back to Grandma's to exchange gifts there. And we stay through the late evening enjoying family! We all had such a blessed Christmas, hope your family did as well!!!

Pajama Day!

It was the kids last day of school for this year and today was pajama day for Hannah's school! All the second graders wore their pj's and watched Polor Express!!! They also had a super fun sing-along that Mama and I joined in on! It was a funny and exciting program, we all had a ball!!! The kids are on Ma-Maw's hands for the weekend while Me and Daddy are ready to have a great weekend with each other...can you tell how excited I am??? Yipee!

Hannah's reading group had their read along play today in their classroom! It was so exciting for Hannah, she is really into the arts lately. Her absolute favorite thing to do these days is to write her own songs and sing them. Here is just a very short bit of the reading!

Congratulations To Uncle Steve!

Congrats to Uncle Steve for being nominated as Master of his Masonic Lodge in Cayce. Uncle Steve puts alot of time and care into being apart of his community and the brothers of his lodge rewarded him with this nomination. Chris, the kids and I enjoyed the ceremony of installation and dinner afterward! We are so proud for Uncle Steve and we love you very much!

GOING TO THE BALLET

Brunson has been excited for over a week now about going to the Ballet. Well, I'm not too sure if he is excited about the actual Ballet or if he is excited about wearing his suit! He was even excited about his Bass loafer shoes...they are exactly like what his Popa always wore. Almost everyday he says, "Mama I just want to try on my handsome clothes". I think I have a little man who likes to be stylish!! So this morning once I got him all dressed, he just had to have a little of Daddy's smelly good spray and then he was asking for his picture to be taken. He said Maw-ma would really like to see me all dressed up! So cute I could just squeeze him to pieces!!!
