Great News!

Bubba has been suffering for so long with his back, he finally had to decide to have the surgery. His surgery was at Providence Hospital yesterday and it was a success. He is home, up walking around the house without the back and leg pains! What a blessing, he is recovering and soon will be able to live a healthy active life again!

Thinking Of Jason

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rucker family. Jason had a car accident with an oncoming train yesterday. He and his two small kids were in the car. The car was hit on the driver's side and pushed sixty to seventy feet landing in a ditch. The kids are heathy and home, but Jason has four cracked ribs, one displaced rib, both lungs collapsed and more bruses and bumps. Jason is in the critical care unit, in stable condition, at Lexington Medical Center. We wish him a fast and healthy recovery.

The Little Sick One

Brunson has been sick with a cold since Thanksgiving. He was so pitiful, just laying around. Saturday he started with an ear ache, but I think I caught it in time not to have to go on antibiotics. He is feeling a lot better now, but it sure broke my heart to see him feel so badly.

Giving Thanks!

This was a Thanksgiving of blessings! We kept our family tradition of gathering and sharing a meal at Grandma's home. We enjoyed lots of great food and all the kids had so much fun playing games! Grandma is 88 and each holiday with her is very important and special. My grandma is a lady who has been independent her whole life, working for the family business, walking up to five miles a day and always having a large garden to tend to is now dependent on others. Seeing her feel so bad and have a smile for each family member is very inspirational. She is so proud of her family, her and granddaddy created a family that now has 25 members. Daddy was missed and we spoke of him alot. I am so thankful for my family and to have such an amazing grandmother. This was a blessed day I will cherish.

Backyard Bums!

We enjoyed a weekend at home! Max came for a weekend visit while Maw-Maw went out of town, the kids always love his visits! We had a great time Saturday grilling out and watching Clemson lose with the Fulmer family! And Sunday was just as lazy! Hannah and Brunson enjoyed having Savannah and Hayden come over for some afternoon playtime! This was a perfect weekend, we all got caught up on our sleep and really spent quality time with each other! Now we are rested and ready for Thanksgiving week!!!

This last picture is just too funny. The kids found this fallen branch and stuck it in the ground. They decorated it and said this was to be our Christmas tree!

School Business!

Just a little update on the happenings at Hannah school! She won the Enthusiastic Eaglet Award for her outstanding behavior and academic success! We received Hannah's first nine week report card and it was EXCELLENT! She had school pictures taken, but they turned out NOT so good. It is a good thing I love photography, I will be getting out the backdrops and taking some fabulous pictures! This week at school is Patriotism Week and in honor of Veterans Day we are having a Patriots on Parade. We, as a family, made a poster for the parade! Our family believes in our country and we support our troops and our President! Thanks to all the Veterans and active soldiers, especially our family hero - Scott Bowers! We appreciate you fighting for our freedom!

Welcome Baby Hank!

What a blessed day. A day to remember and a day of rejoicing. Henry James Daniels was born at 12:41 p.m. weighing 9 lbs 11 oz. 20 3/4in. long. Hank, Mommy, Daddy and big brother Patrick are all doing well. Hank is just perfect, he is opening his eyes and turning his head to sounds as of 4 hours old. Patrick is so proud of his little brother and enjoyed holding and protecting him. Mommy is recovering very well, the delivery went just as planned. Daddy is beaming with pride and enjoying his baby bliss. All grandparents are so excited about the safe, perfect delivery of their new Grandson. Hannah, Brunson and Chris can't wait to visit Baby Hank real soon!

Oysters anyone?

We enjoyed another fun weekend in Camden...Yes, it seems to be our second home lately! We had a great oyster roast Friday night at Maw-Maw's! Uncle Benny, Kyleigh, Bubba and Trey joined us for LOTS of oysters! Chris brought 2 bushels this time! Hannah loves oysters, Maw-maw opened the oysters all night for her! Brunson isn't a oyster fan, so Maw-maw had spaghetti too! I think the roasted marsh mellows were his favorite! Kyleigh had a great time with Brunson eating the mellows! Good luck to Greg, Jen-jen, and Patrick tomorrow with welcoming baby Hank!

Hannah Montana and Spiderman!

Halloween was so fun at the Stone house! Maw-Maw, Max, Aunt Cathy, Jenny, Jamie, Hailey and Alex joined us for all the Spookie fun! Jamie brought the 4-wheeler and trailer for the hay ride! We all had a great time trick or treating, eating and just being together! Brunson got a little, well a lot scared (he begged to go? at the Haunted house. And I don't blame him...a monster ran after him with a chain saw! But then Jamie let him drive the 4-wheeler and all was well again. EXCEPT for bedtime, we decided to finally let him sleep in Hannah's room!
