Opening Day For Softball!

Well opening day did not go as planned. The wind and weather took over a day of softball fun. The parade was short and sweet, the pictures were postponed and the scrimmage game was postponed as well. Hannah's first game is Wednesday and hopefully the weather will be much better.

My Baby

Jenny called today to make sure I was aware, tomorrow is registration for Kindergarten. It hit my heart so hard...I am losing my baby! I knew this was coming, but somehow it has made me cry all afternoon. I have been home with my children almost everyday for over seven years, what am I going to do? I know Brunson will have so much fun and it will allow me to focus on real estate...but it hurts so bad to know he will be more independent everyday and need his Mommy less and less from now on. Ohhhh.

First Grade Project

Robot
Ok so I guess I need to vent! Hannah came home Friday with a "Robot Family Project" Let me remind you, she is in First Grade! The robot is to be a 3 dimentsional and it has to move. Along with her Robot, there needs to be a typed report and then she is to do a oral presentation in front of her class. This isn't a project on effort either, each aspect is graded, she could fail even if she (we) try. And also it has to be turned in on Thursday! So we went out of town for the weekend and Hannah has softball Monday and Tuesday night. She has 4 test each and every week so this project is extra. Come on, this is a project for Chris and I, not a first grader! Is this teacher expecting a robot with mechanics and all? I always stress about my kids and making sure they do the best and are the best they can be. I'm sure I will come up with something great!

The Other Passion In My Life!

I usually talk about my family, mostly my children on my blog. But I decided to chat a bit about the other passion in my life! I love real estate! I enjoy tracking the real estate trends, changes in the mortgage industry, but most of all I love the actual personal relationship I gain everytime I help a client buy or sale a home. So if you or someone you know is thinking of buying or selling a home, please don't hesitate to call me! I work with the 4th largest real estate firm in the U.S., so if you live here in Columbia SC or any other state, I will work for you to find your next home and or sell your current home. Referrals are the backbone of my business!
