Weekend News!

What a weekend! Let me start by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENISE, the BIG 30!!!
Photobucket
Also another special lady celebrated a Birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT DEBBIE!!!

We hope both of these beautiful women had a great birthday celebration! Chris and I unfortunately both had a busy work weekend. With the real estate market being so bad, there are alot of homes out there for sale that just aren't selling and I saw quite a few I just might be interested in. I mean these prices are great!!! Humm...Something to think about!
Also, our prayers are with the Burnham family, Lisa passed away at the young age of 39. This family have been through the hard times, with losing their sweet father about three years ago.

Visit From Maw-Maw!

We had a great visit from Maw-Maw today! It is always nice when Mama visits, she always helps with cleaning and decorating! Chris fixed a great fish dinner and we all ate too much...but oh so good! Hannah is out of school tomorrow and so both the kids went to Maw-Maw's for the night! Chris and I are looking forward to a nice quiet night!!!

LOOK FAST...

CAUSE IT WON'T LAST!

We get really excited to see the white stuff! When Hannah and Brunson were heading off to bed it started snowing. The kids were so estatic and Chris and I had a great time watching the kids dancing and running around trying to taste the snow!

It is hard to believe another year has passed without Daddy. I miss him terribly but I do continue to feel him near me everyday. I know he watches over me and the family and celebrates all off our life victories. We talk of him always in our home and the children remember him and see his pictures daily. I am so thankful to know I had the best Daddy anyone could ever have. I love you Daddy. 8/6/1939 - 1/14/2006

Just Got My Ears Pierced...At Claire's

Hannah has been asking for awhile now to have her ears pierced and so today was the day! We have always made it Hannah's decision to have her ears pierced and she has been a little (or alot) scared of the pain. For the last year she has become more girlie and has enjoyed the clip on ear rings, but she finally made the decision to have the "real" ear rings! Hannah woke up super excited this morning and couldn't wait to go to the mall and get those ears pierced! All morning singing and dancing around, she even dressed herself in a superstar wardrobe....knee boots on the outside of the jeans, a hoodie tee, a braid on one side of the head, necklase, and of course her nail polish and lip gloss! So when Maw-Maw called she was ready to go! And that is when the butterflies began...the singing stopped in the car, alittle spacey look in the eyes and acouple shades lighter in her face color. But she would not admit to any of these feelings at all, no way she was a big girl all the way! So after I signed my life away in paperwork the process began, oh and by the way, I do recommend Claire's for ear piercing! So once the markings were made, Hannah counted 1, 2, 3 and the two women popped at the sametime and it was done! Hannah made it, only going the slightest bit green! After a deep breathe, the smiles appeared on my little baby's beautiful face. And boy did the tears start pooring from me...I don't know what happened. I guess it hit me, my baby is no baby no more. I am the proudest Mom in the whole world, she showed such grace and bravery.
Then we had lunch at Chick-fil-A and shopped, Hannah got two more pair of ear rings (thanks Maw-Maw) and some lotions and hair bands! After all this shopping Hannah decided she had to have a Baskin Robin's ice cream (thanks again Maw-Maw)!After such a fun day, we ended with a nice family visit at home! This was a blessed day, I will always cherish!

Rock On...

Hannah and Brunson are loving the music thing lately! And I have to say, I am pretty proud of their continued interest and developing talents! Chris has helped, by teaching them (what he thinks are) rock star moves! We are all having a great time! I am still hopeful to have that family band as the kids grow a little older. You know I can wail out some pretty tunes, hahahaha!!!
