Viewer Discretion Advised!!!
Chris and Brunson went hunting with Trey and Jake. Brunson's first time hunting a dog drive and look what they got! This is actually B's first successful deer hunt. As I hear it, Brunson was the first to see the deer and told his Daddy "DEER" and when the deer heard B, it stopped and gave the them just enough time to successful get the deer. Brunson was so excited and can't wait to go hunting again! Of course, B says "Mommy, you put my picture on the computer". Who doesn't love a blogspot!

Home Sweet Home!
The Stone Family spent a wonderful week in Camden celebrating the Christmas Holiday. We all had so much fun staying with Maw-Maw and spending time with our family. Christmas went wonderful, Santa left lots of toys Christmas morning at Maw-Maw's and we all enjoyed watching Hannah and Brunson see all the wonderful things! I think Santa's top pick toy for Brunson was a guitar and for Hannah, the Karaoke machine! Before long, there will be a Stone Family Band! As always we enjoyed the rest of Christmas day at Grandma's! Since Christmas, Chris has enjoyed hunting down at the farm while Mama and I enjoyed playing with the kids and all their many toys! We got home late yesterday and it feels so great to be home! We haven't left home for that long in quite awhile. Aunt Cathy emailed this wonderful picture of four generations of the girls! I think this is my favorite holiday picture ever!!
Please Keep my Uncle Benny in your prayers. He has an infection and is in ICU being treated.

GUESS WHAT I HAD?
A DATE NIGHT!!!
It was wonderful! Hannah spent the night with Aunt Beth and Uncle Steve and Brunson spent the night with Maw-Maw. Chris and I didn't know what to do with ourselves!!! It being the holiday season, we have so much we needed to do, shop, wrap, bake, pack up for Camden, and so much more. But we threw all of that out the window and enjoyed a night for just the two of us. What a great Christmas present, quality time spent just with my husband! I loved it! We started out with a nice dinner at Miyabi Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse and then with an hour to waist, we strolled around Columbiana Centre and finally our night out ended with a movie! Everything went so great, but we did encounter a not so comfortable situation. The movie I chose to see must have been a pretty popular movie, since the theatre was almost full by the time the lights dimmed. Well, I see it coming but what to do...I am stuck? My ex-boss walks into the door and I see her coming my way, yep she sits right beside me. She doesn't notice me until she has to slide in past me. How weird, you see we didn't part ways very good when I decided to leave Russell & Jeffcoat Realitors. She was quite angry to say the least. So anyway, if either of us were to get up and switch seats it would have been rude and sceney, so we both endured an unpleasant situation. On top of this, the movie was completely a tear jerker. So hear I am trying to be all proper and tears are continuously falling down my checks and my nose is all stuffed up and I feel like such a mess. Whoever posted this movie (P.S. I love you) as a great date movie was so a man. I feel for any single girl or woman who decides to see this movie with a man she is trying to impress....Because by the time she leaves the movie, there will be no makeup left on her face, her eyes will be puffy and in just a mess physically! It was a great movie, but go with someone you don't mind shedding a tear with and make sure you bring lots of tissues!!!

Christmas Pictures!
After an afternoon of baking Christmas cookies and listening to Christmas music we made a second attempt of picture taking! Bribing the kids...if you smile, I'll give you a cookie! Hannah has discovered the 80s style hair curls, and yes she makes me curl her hair daily. Here in the Stone home, we are teaching the children the real meaning of Christmas and not this political "Holiday Season". We are keeping Christ in our home and surrounding ourselves with love and family!

The Best Girlie Ever!!! Happy 30th Birthday!!!
Happy Birthday to the very best friend in the world! Alisha and I have been the bestest of friends for 2o years now, it all started when we were in 4th grade! Yes, Mrs. Edmonds class at Davis Elementary School! We have been through braces, dance classes, gymnastic classes, broken hearts, great husbands and terrific kids!!! I remember the play dates started with barbies then moved up to hair and makeup experiments and finally the notice of boys. And of course, I remember at one time we even shared a boyfriend...ok we were in 5th grade and Chris Faircloth was the cutest boy in school! Then off to middle school, we had our fun and embarrassing times in our jazz classes and recitals...The embarrassment happened when Alisha kicked me in the head on our final move during our recital! Next was gymnastics...what were we thinking...a lot of bruises and bumps...but the instructor was terrible and mean!!! So then while I started playing basketball, Alisha started cheering. This was probably the saddest year, you see I was transferred to a new school and Alisha stayed at the old school! I remember my school playing against her school....I was so happy to see her, we were quietly cheering each other on that night! Now comes high school, those were great years!!! I just can't even start to describe our times there, if there were something to get into we did! Hey, we never got caught!!! After high school was college, yes we did that together too! We were roommates even after college! Then came the men in our lives and babies too! What a life we have shared! I look forward to 20 more years of having the best friend a girl could ask for!!!

Skate Night!
What alot of fun! Hannah, Brunson and Chris had a great time skating at three fountains tonight! It was Hannah's end of the season party for softball and what a way to end a fun season! We rented the entire place for two hours and it was so great not to have to fight any crowds! Chris gave us all some laughs acting like a teenager out there skating and dancing. Yes, he fell twice and it was hilarous!!!
Good Job Hannah!

Great News!
Bubba has been suffering for so long with his back, he finally had to decide to have the surgery. His surgery was at Providence Hospital yesterday and it was a success. He is home, up walking around the house without the back and leg pains! What a blessing, he is recovering and soon will be able to live a healthy active life again!

Thinking Of Jason
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rucker family. Jason had a car accident with an oncoming train yesterday. He and his two small kids were in the car. The car was hit on the driver's side and pushed sixty to seventy feet landing in a ditch. The kids are heathy and home, but Jason has four cracked ribs, one displaced rib, both lungs collapsed and more bruses and bumps. Jason is in the critical care unit, in stable condition, at Lexington Medical Center. We wish him a fast and healthy recovery.

Giving Thanks!
This was a Thanksgiving of blessings! We kept our family tradition of gathering and sharing a meal at Grandma's home. We enjoyed lots of great food and all the kids had so much fun playing games! Grandma is 88 and each holiday with her is very important and special. My grandma is a lady who has been independent her whole life, working for the family business, walking up to five miles a day and always having a large garden to tend to is now dependent on others. Seeing her feel so bad and have a smile for each family member is very inspirational. She is so proud of her family, her and granddaddy created a family that now has 25 members. Daddy was missed and we spoke of him alot. I am so thankful for my family and to have such an amazing grandmother. This was a blessed day I will cherish.
