AN ADULT NIGHT OUT!!!

Aunt Beth and I starting an early pre-celebration around 2! Chris was working and spending some girl time with Aunt Beth was FUN!!! Wow did my day start early!!!













And the night continued till about 2 in the morn. Wow we had such a great time. Two parties and lots of friends always makes for a great time. Saturday was great...Sunday not so much for me!!!

SNAGGLE TOOTH!

Hannah is getting older and these growing pains are getting tough! She just lost her 3rd tooth tonight and she is not happy. She keeps telling me to fix it...I love being the hero and all, but what does a Mommy do to replace a tooth? She says she is ugly and people are going to laugh at her. Of course she is the cutest thing since sliced bread and I tell her so everyday. So now that she gots the confident boost and alittle more pampering with polishing her toe nails...all is calm again. Can you imagine the teenage years around the Stone house???

Brunson's First Day Of School

I just don't know what to say, my baby is now gone. It is so bitter sweet, he was super excited and I was super sad. I couldn't even get out of house this morning before the tears came. Brunson walked in that school like he owned it, with his head held high and shoulders back. He woke up this morning ready to go!!! He made his first traditional call to Mamaw on the way to school and when we were walking into school we met up with Haden and Savannah. Well, Brunson really thought he was hot stuff then. After visiting the classroom, Chris said I had to go...So I went to tell my baby bye and I love you. The little stinker looks around to make sure none of his new friends were looking before he kissed me!!! Ohhhhh, my heart is broke, yet full of pride.

Hannah's First Day Going To Second Grade!

Popping out of bed (before the alarm) at 5:30, Hannah was ready for school! She picked out her outfit, was dressed, with teeth brushed and hair done before I could even turn around this morning! Daddy took a quick break from work and came home to help walk Hannah in on her first day and of course she had to make her traditional call to MaMaw on her way to school! Hannah's class and classmates look super fun this year, I know my BIG girl is going to have a fantastic year!!! I can't wait to pick her up this afternoon and hear all about her first day!!!




BRUNSON AND ALEX ORIENTATION!!!
The babies are not babies anymore. They enjoyed themselves so much today at orientation. They danced and sang, had treats and so much more fun. Brunson and Alex are so excited about starting Kindergarten!

THE MEET AND GREET!!!

Brunson enjoyed his afternoon of meeting and greeting his school and teachers! He was a super big boy and can't wait for his first day of school!!! We were so lucky to have gotten the BEST kindergarten teachers, Mrs Schafer & Mrs Cockrell! We requested, hoped and prayed Brunson would get these two wonderful teachers. Hannah really grew and learned a lot from them her kindergarten year!
Hannah is starting at a new school this year and we met her new teacher, Miss Dimery, on Thursday. Sorry I forgot my camera then. Hannah is really excited about switching into the big school and she thinks her teacher is beautiful. She can't wait to start school too! Hannah's first day will be Tuesday and Brunson's first day will be Wednesday.

The Weekend Ended With A Bang!

A WEEKEND FULL OF UPS AND DOWNS!!!

What a weekend to say the least! Starting with Friday with Daddy's flight coming in and picking him up in Charlotte, that was a definite up to the weekend! This was the first time in nine years of marriage that Chris and I have been seperated for more than a night and he was gone 6 days, to say the very least I missed him terribly!!! Then Saturday, Uncle Bert passed away after living such an incredible life of 92 years. Auntie Lisha and her family came and spent the afternoon and night with us, which of course was another fun up time. We played in the river (Jackson LOVED IT), grilled a wonderful dinner, and then....another downer. While we were fishing off Mama's dock, Brunson took a tumble off the dock. Scared the mess out of all of us, but I am shamed to say I did not take it like a brave Mama. Once I saw that he would be ok and Mama was cleaning him up, I just passed out! What a wimp I am! He was super brave and is loving all the attention and his bandages...Boys are so weird, thinking boo boo's are cool! A HUGE thank you to Mama for having me and the kids ALL week and for taking such great care of Brunson and his boo boos! I say it all the time and it never feels like enough...I do have the BEST Mama in the world!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRUNSON!

Happy Birthday to my precious BIG boy Brunson! I can't believe he is already FIVE! Time sure does fly when you are having fun! However, today wasn't without sadness since Daddy wasn't here to celebrate his birthday. Daddy would have been 69 today! Spending the day in Camden with Mama today was so special! Actually Hannah, Brunson and I have been crashing at Mama's all week. Chris is on a business trip and I sure don't know how to survive without him. I'm so glad we had such a great birthday celebration Saturday with Chris here! We did celebrate again today with enjoying a dinner out! BUT we all can't wait to have Chris come HOME!

WHAT FUN!!! A birthday gathering at Mamaw's is the BEST! Brunson had such a great time with his Aunts, Uncles, grandmas, cousins and friends!!! Thanks to all for helping Brunson and Hayden have a GREAT birthday!!!
